Applications for the 2026 Fall Spotlight program are available online

Participants will identify and develop personal strengths, gain exposure to numerous community leaders and organizations, and explore issues and opportunities in our community. For Stark County to adapt and thrive, it is essential that young professionals work, play, and stay in our community. The Spotlight program can be a key element to helping young professionals learn all that our community has to offer, make connections with a variety of people, and find their niche for meaningful service.

Attendance at five of the six required sessions is necessary for the certificate of completion. Classes meet from 4 – 6 p.m., with networking available after each session.

Participants will identify and develop personal strengths, gain exposure to numerous community leaders and organizations, and explore issues and opportunities in our community.

For Stark County to adapt and thrive, it is essential that young professionals work, play, and stay in our community. The Spotlight program can be a key element to helping young professionals learn all that our community has to offer, make connections with a variety of people, and develop their leadership skills to be effective team members in service to our community.

Spotlight Program class members will receive:

  • Personalized GallupStrengths Assessment
  • Programming founded in the leadership development competencies
  • Community service opportunities
  • Introduction to non-profit leaders and causes
  • Exposure to community arts and culture
  • Learn about mental health and wellness
  • Networking opportunities with like-minded young professionals

The Spotlight Stark County Fall 2026 class will meet on six program days, over a 12 week period.
